How to blend the color (gradation)

1. Press "B" to activate the BRUSH.
2. Pick Foreground color
3. Choose Orange color (or it's up to you).
4. Your cursor still in BRUSH mode. Right Click. "Master Diameter" and "Hardness" box appear.
choose diameter of your brush at least 100 and Hardness bring it to 100%.
5. Draw an Orange color.
6. Choose other color and draw other color
7. If your cursor still in BRUSH mode, you will see OPACITY on top of your screen. Click the ARROW, and slide from 100 to at least 18.
8. RIGHT click and bring the HARDNESS of the brush to 0%. Press "ALT". Your cursor becoming a PIPET. Pick ORANGE (your foreground color automatically turned to ORANGE. SCRATCH the brush from orange toward the blue one.
Keep doing it until you can't see the border line of the two colors.

9. Now, Press "ALT" and bring PIPET to BLUE color. Do the same thing (from blue toward orange).
That's it. Keep practicing with other color.
Sometime it's good to do this with bigger brush diameter.
Remember before you SCRATCH, turn opacity to 18 - 20 and bring hardness of your brush to 0%.
Good luck.

In the value box, type "50". The drawing will become 50% paler.

7. Create a NEW LAYER. "Layer 2" appear.
8. Double click "Layer 2". And rename it "LAY OUT".

9. Click foreground color box and choose black. NOW YOU ARE READY TO TRACE DAKOTA FANNING'S FACE.

10. The picture on the left, is for your reference. The picture on your right is your working drawing. Trace carefully the face line of Dakota. I like to start with the eyes, nose, mouth, face, hair and the others are the rest of it.

Keep doing it until you trace overall the face lines.

After you finish, TURN OFF "LAYER 1" by pressing the EYE symbol on the layer.
THERE YOU GO!!. YOU'VE JUST MADE A PICTURE OF DAKOTA FANNING WITH BLACK LINES WITH PHOTOSHOP.

Save the image in Photoshop format.
SAVE AS in JPG or TIFF.

TIPS: It's better to use HIGHER RESOLUTION images for your reference so you can make it more accurate.
